This logo project was a particularly interesting shift from my usual design. Livingston, Montfort, & Cobb is a group of three churches based out of the Methodist faith. Though working with my client, I learned that typical branding of a Methodist church involves a cross and flame. This client didn’t want to use the standard Methodist logo, instead they wanted to create a stylized stained glass version.

Livingston, Montfort, & Cobb Logo Design

Using these guidelines, I created a variation of logos and the client settled on a circular version. The colors and shapes utilized mirror traditional stained glass pieces. I surrounded the design in a dark brown outline and included space in between the shapes for what would be the came (metal pieces connecting the glass).

I created a few different variations to be utilized across different materials. One with the text wrapped around the circle, and the other with the text stacked on the side of the circle.

In the end, the client was very happy to have an updated logo and I have worked on a few different projects for them since.
